Our lives are full of important transitions, such as: welcoming new family members and unions, transitioning to new careers, homes and genders, and moving through life-threatening illnesses and death.
Life transitions are complex. Some occasions are full of joy. Others bring with them a deep sense of loss. And most often, there are a range of feelings at play. After all, moving into a new chapter of life necessarily means turning the page on the previous chapters.
